2012 Young Generation Forum (YGF 2012)
July 2, 2012 (Mon) – July 7, 2012 (Sat)

Location: TBD in the Republic of Korea

Dear KSEA Members,
We at KSEA are very pleased to announce the 2012 Young Generation Forum (YGF) program to be held July 2-7, 2012, in Seoul, Korea (location is tentative).

Each year since 2002, the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) and the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) have been hosting the Young Generation Forum (YGF) by bringing young Korean Heritage scientists and engineers from all over the world to Korea. The goal is to share the Korean vision of science and technology around the world.
The Young Generation Forum (YGF), organized by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies, brings together 120 of the brightest ethnic Koreans from all over the world. Participants will be pulled from countries including USA, Canada, Japan, and Germany to learn more about Korea, and create a strong world-wide network. This is a rare opportunity to meet young generation scientists and technology leaders from all over the world, experience Korean culture, and a forum to share research ideas.
The Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association is proud to be able to send 30 delegates from the US to the event. The event is FREE and in addition, participants receive meals, lodging, and travel stipends to cover the airfare to Korea. Please visit YGF 2012 website at http://yg.ksea.org/ygf to learn more about the event, eligibility requirements, the application, and links to more resources on YGF.
