Dr. Deok-Ho Kim: Sending heart muscle tissues up to the microgravity environment of the International Space Station (ISS)

KSEA member, Dr. Deok-Ho Kim, an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University, is on news, He and his research team send heart muscle tissues up to the microgravity environment of the International Space Station (ISS) for one month of observation. They will shed light on the aging process and adult heart health, and facilitate the development of treatments for heart muscle diseases.
