KSEA Space Science Camp on June 12, 2021
Dear KSEA members,
KSEA is offering National Space Science Camp on June 12, 2021, Saturday from noon to 3 pm EDT/9 pm -noon PDT for Grades 5 to 12 in the U.S. However, all age groups are strongly encouraged to attend. The program offers presentations and hands-on experiments related to the space exploration programs by the current active NASA members and the university professors.
The Mars NASA engineer, Jules Lee, working at Jet Propulsion Lab will present “Space Navigation”; Dr. Jungkyu Kim, Professor of University of Utah will present “Search for Life Signature”; Dr. Jae H. Ryu, Professor of University of Idaho will introduce iDrone Program; and Prof. Paul Yun, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador and Professor at El Camino College will introduce various student internship and other free programs available at NASA/JPL. Prof. Yun and Dr. Jeonwoo Jeon, Glentek will offer hands-on designing of a space shuttle landing system using raw egg as a model. This event will offer students to explore unique opportunities to learn and participate in the space science programs.
